To be a successful portrait photographer, they say you have to dedicate your efforts to one specific type of portrait work. You're either a wedding photographer, or a sports photographer, or a family photographer, etc. Fortunately, I never felt obliged to conform to any one style! I love having the freedom to do whatever type of photo shoot my client/model requires, or multiple styles if that's the case, without having to adhere to any creative restrictions. The principals are the same regardless of the style of shoot, and so is the end goal: a great experience for my clients, to empower and celebrate them, and most importantly, to capture a great collection of pictures that will last a lifetime.
